JC Fire Officials Not Commenting on Alcohol Allegation

By WBNG News

The Johnson City Fire Department is not commenting on allegations that firefighter was drunk on duty.
This week Village Trustee Dennis Hannon called for the Mayor and Board to take action.
He's asking to authorize the police department to investigate.
Hannon wants police to look into an incident earlier this year involving a firefighter and alleged alcohol use on duty.
Acting Fire Chief Robert Dempsey says he is still gathering information.
Dempsey told Action News he has no knowledge of the alleged incident. JC Fire Union Leader Marty Meaney also declined to comment
