By WBNG News

A shortage of supplies is slowing development of the Millenium Pipeline in the Southern Tier.

The 186 mile natural gas transporting pipeline is making its way through parts of Broome and Tioga Counties.

This is footage from the Town of Dickinson.

Project managers believe, at best, the gas will start flowing in December, a month later than planned.

The pipeline company says its because of tough terrain in the southern tier, and a lack of available construction supplies.

A spokesman says there is similar projects going on throughout the world...

Creating a high demand for proper equipment.
