A pipe replacement project has one local town asking people to limit their water use today.

The Town of Union will be replacing a section of waste water pipe today between the Argonne Pump Station and River Terrace Pump Station.

This will not affect drinking water, and water service won't be interrupted.

But the town does ask those who live in Endwell to limit their water use between 8:00am and 2:00 this afternoon.

The state Department of Environmental Conservation has approved a temporary flow diversion of partially treated sewage into the Susquehanna River during repairs.
