Reward Offered in Delaware County Arsons

A reward's offered to help solve a string of arson and vandalism crimes in Delaware County.

The Delaware Sheriff's Office says since April, there have been 8 suspicious fires.

That includes the United Methodist Church fire in Sidney Center last week.

Investigators are also believe the fires could be related to 4 other acts of vandalism.

A task force has been formed to find the person or people responsible.

Delaware County Sheriff Richard Mills also established a reward fund of 3-thousand dollars.

It is also seeking donations to add to the fund.

Rewards will be paid out to people who provide information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

Donations to the reward fund can be mailed to Delaware County Sheriff's Office.
