A Tioga County man, convicted of killing his wife, has been moved to a state prison in Elmira.

Cal Harris of Spencer was found guilty of murder a second time this summer.

Harris was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the death of his wife, Michele.

He was moved from the Tioga County Jail to the Elmira prison in the last couple of days.

Harris could serve his full sentence there, or be moved to another of the state's 12 prisons.

He would be eligible for parole in March, 2034.

Michele Harris disappeared in September of 2001.

Her body has never been found.
