Halloween is here, and with it comes costumes and candy.

Action News Reporter Natalie Jenereski shows us how people of all ages are celebrating the spooky holiday.

It's the night for tricks and treats.

When the littlest pumpkins have the biggest grins.

"The part I like about Halloween is I get pounds of candy," said Logan Fetterman.

It's a holiday that people of all ages can enjoy.

"I think it just brings everybody together, and it's an excuse to take a break from regular life and hang out with everybody," said Christina King.

Some people say picking out their costume the day of Halloween is half the fun.

"Once I got here it started to be fun, but initially it seemed like a chore, then we got here and started looking at everything and it was a lot of fun," said King.

But other shoppers think the crowds can be a bit scary.

"It's crazy. I wouldn't ever wait until the day of again," said Jessie Gibbons.

Some stuck to a Halloween budget..and relied on resourcefulness to get them through the spooky holiday.

"They're this big, and they're $60 dollars, so I'd rather spend my money on something else," said King.

Those who did buy their costumes are taking tips from pop culture.

"There's a lot of Michael Jacksons. There's a lot of lady bugs going around, storybook princesses," said Andy Grannis of the Spirit Halloween Shop.

When black cats prowl and pumpkins gleam, may luck be yours on Halloween.

Safety is a key in having a fun and worry-free holiday.

Parents are encouraged to check their child's candy carefully.
