Democrat Dennis Hannon Votes in Johnson City Mayoral Race

By WBNG News

Democrat Dennis Hannon cast his ballot for Johnson City Mayor at All Saints Church.

Hannon is a retired Police Chief who also served as a village trustee.

He become JC mayor in June when former Mayor Harry Lewis stepped down after 17 years.

Hannon says he would like to have campaigned more, but was busy tackling the discussion over dissolution.

But, he's still confident.

"I am feeling pretty good going into this. You never know how an election is going to go. Over the past two years I've worked very hard for the village and the residents. And I am hoping people give me the honor and the privilege of serving for one year or 4 years. Depending on what happens of course with the dissolution vote." said Hannon
