Republican George Kolba cast his ballot at the Primitive Methodist Church on Ackley Avenue in the village.

Kolba is the owner of Kolba Construction, and also served as former Deputy Mayor.

He's hoping people in village come out and vote on the option to dissolve Johnson City into the Town of Union.

"An extremely good turnout for this important issue that's up. Everything has been centered around dissolution and that's the main concern for me." said Kolba

Like opponent Dennis Hannon, Kolba says this year the mayor's race took a back seat to the issue of dissolution.
