Drazen Casts His Vote

By WBNG News

Independent candidate Douglas Walter Drazen was joined by his family as he cast his vote over at the Chester B. Lord school.

Drazen says he's proud of the campaign he's run, but won't be sitting home waiting for results.

He says after casting his vote, he's going to go out door to door, for one last push with the voters.

"I feel pretty good. I really enjoyed the process, just like last time. Really enjoyed going out and making personal contact with voters at their homes and that's exactly what I'm going to do for the rest of the afternoon, right up until the dinner hour," says Drazen.

The three candidates say the future of the city depends on lowering taxes and finding more revenue opportunities for the city.
