The Yankees World Series win also hits a home run for memorabilia sales.

Dick's Clothing and Sporting Goods in Vestal has a long table full of World Series shirts, hats, programs, and blankets.

And people have been in and out all day to buy their World Series gear.

This couple collected a cart full of stuff to remember the Yankees 27th World title.

"It seems like we started a tradition. Whenever the Yankees win, we go out and buy hats and we buy them for the kids and for the grandchildren and we're just carrying on that tradition," said John Felice of Newark Valley.

Some fans we spoke with say they've been waiting 9 years for a new World Series title.
