Broome County has received 10,000 doses of the vaccine since it started being distributed in September.

"But it is a slow process. We continue to ask the public to be patient about contacting their providers and waiting for the vaccine to come in," says Claudia Edwards with the Broome County Health Department.

Broome County will hold another H1N1 flu clinic for pregnant women on Monday.

The Centers for Disease Control lists pregnant women among the high risk groups.

It's first come, first serve from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Broome County Health Department..

The department has recorded 400 cases of H1N1 in October, alone.

It advises anyone with flu-like symptoms to weather the illness at home.
