The bell at the First Congregational Church on Front Street in Binghamton rang out this morning.

It sounds at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month.
Broome County Veterans for Peace held the service in honor of Armistice Day.

Congress officially recognized the day with a resolution in 1926.

Which promoted peace and dialogue between nations.

The Veterans for Peace group will also march in today's Veterans Day Parade in Binghamton.
