Dialysis patients enjoy a home-style turkey dinner.

This is the third annual Thanksgiving dinner for dialysis patients at the First Presbyterian Church in Endicott.

The free dinner was open to those who are treated at United Health Services' Renal Care Center.

The event aims to bring patients, their families, and the staff that takes care of them together.

One patient says he's thankful for the time his nurses put into the dinner.

"Oh this is nice. It gets people together... It's nice they put it on like this. I think it's great," said Phil Dirienzo of Binghamton.

UHS hospitals donated turkeys and pies.

Other food donations were also contributed by members of the community.
