"It's going to be a great weekend today and tomorrow. Come one come all."

30-thousand people are expected at the Greater Binghamton Air Show.

And for good reason.

A display like this, doesn't happen every day.

Or every year for that matter.

The air show was canceled the last two years.

People say they're glad to see it's return.

"I like bringing the kids and showing them the big planes and helicopters and the pilots. They think the pilots are really cool," says Deborah Barnum.

And while the smaller planes steal the show in the sky...

It's this big plane that seems to be stealing the show on the ground.

Big enough, to walk right through.

"I like going in the airplane because it was like huge," says Natasha Mikels of Whitney Point.

And I'm told by a reliable source, it can hold a lot of supplies.

"Things like food, gasoline and tanks and stuff," says Matthew Krajnyk of Endicott.

And the show is a site that doesn't only amaze the kids, but the kids at heart too.

"It does. You never grow up. At least I don't," says Rand Barnum of Vestal.

Broome County's Executive, and first timer to the show, agrees.

"it's wonderful. Wonderful. There's so much activity and to see the planes and even walk through the big ones I mean absolutely. You just can't imagine that anything that big could fly. Well it's fun a lot of fun. Having a good time," says Barbara Fiala.

The airshow continues Saturday.

Gates will open at the airport at 10am, the show begins at noon, and the event runs until 4.

Tickets are $9 for adults, $7 for for kids between 7 and 16 years old and its free for children under 7.
