(WBNG Binghamton) The Broome County 911 system returned to full service early Thursday morning after experiencing outages with its call center.
The system was restored as of 3:45 a.m., according to Gabe Osterhout, Communications Assistant for Broome County.
The county's IT department worked to fix the problem and restore the backup systems.
The system was experiencing problems on Wednesday afternoon.
Broome County Emergency Management asks people not to call 911 to test the system.
