Binghamton,NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Roberson Museum and Science Center had a special guest touring its exhibits Friday morning.

The President of Binghamton University, Dr. Harvey Stenger spent the morning at the museum.

His visit was prompted by the hope of the two places working together.

Opportunities for partnership with the University and it's students were discussed.

Roberson staff says in the coming months, it has a few projects that BU students may be interested in helping with. That work will not be specific to one learning field.

"We've had exhibitions that have been worked on with BU students, we've had engineering students and a lot of internships with BU Students, but there's nothing like the president coming," says Terry McDonald, Executive Director of Roberson.

Dr. Stenger says he enjoyed his tour of the museum, where he also got to see the brand new digital planetarium. It's one of the places in the area he hasn't seen yet.
