Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Our Lady of Sorrows opened their new Main Street location on Sunday morning

The standing room only mass christened the church just in time for Christmas. The church is the first built in the diocese since construction of Holy Cross Church in DeWitt in 2005.

Bishop Robert Cunningham from the Syracuse Diocese came to the church Sunday. He accompanied Reverend John Kurgan, the pastor for Our Lady of Sorrows, as the church opened it's doors.

Hundreds enjoyed Sunday's mass. Our Lady of Sorrows will hold mass both Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.
