ACHIEVE helps train for local jobs

Binghamton,NY (WBNG Binghamton) ACHIEVE works with individuals that have developmental, physical and learning disabilities find jobs in the community.

Through its Country Valley Industries program, the organization focuses on job training, mock interview training and job coaching.

Currently, more than 100 participants in the program are working throughout the community. Forty more people are in the job-development phase.

"They want to work. They don't want to be late. They want to show up. They want to show up on time for an honest day's work for an honest day's pay," Job Developer Dave Hogan said.

Country Valley Industries says many of it member get jobs and stay employed for decades.
