Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton Police arrested the man accused of armed robbery at the Kwik Fill Station at 267 Main St.

Mark Lake, 44, of Apalachin was arrested Thursday, according to police.

Police said this is the same man who was arrested for robbery at Apalachin's Lucky Kitchen in April. According to Tioga County Jail, Lake was released on May 22 after he posted bail.

The call for Kwik Fill came in just after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to emergency communications.

Police said a white male entered the store wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, dark shorts, dark sneakers and a dark ski mask.

He showed what appeared to be the handle of a handgun, then demanded money from the clerk and left with an unknown amount of money.

Lake was charged with robbery in the first degree and taken to the Broome County Jail.

The Tioga County Sheriff's Department assisted in the arrest.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Binghamton detectives at (607) 772-7080.
