Arrest in gas station robbery

Town of Lansing, NY (WBNG Binghamton) State Police at Ithaca arrested an Odessa man for felony robbery.

On Wednesday, troopers arrested Michael D. Robinson, 30, as the result of an investigation into a robbery on Feb. 19 at the Tops Friendly Market gas station on North Triphammer Road.

Troopers charged Robinson with one count of robbery in the third degree, a class "D" felony.

He was arraigned in Town of Lansing Court and taken to the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail/$10,000 bond.

Robinson is scheduled to re-appear in court on March 4.

Tompkins County and Schuyler County Sheriff’s Departments assisted in the investigation.
