Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A local business has been finding its trucks damaged and their catalytic converters missing.

Now two men have been arrested and charged with the crime.

According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, Michael Golden, 28, of the Town of Union, and Michael Fineout, 24, of Owego, allegedly stole the components from pickup trucks at Aratura Snow and Ice Management in Endicott.

According to deputies, it's common for thieves to steal catalytic converters to turn in as scrap metal for cash.

Golden was charged with three counts of petit larceny, a misdemeanor, and was turned over to Binghamton Police for an active bench warrant.

Fineout was charged with felony criminal mischief in the third degree and was taken to the Broome County Jail.
