Ithaca, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Ithaca Police Department continue to search for a man who tried to rob a convenience store Sunday night.

Police responded to the Byrne Dairy Convenience Store on North Meadow Street around 8:45 PM, when a panic alarm was activated inside the building.

When officers arrived, a store employee said a man had come in the store and demanded money from the cash register.

Ithaca Police are asking anyone with additional information to call (607) 272-3245.
