Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Tassels were turned Tuesday night at BOCES, as 29 graduates walked across the floor with their diplomas.

Preparation for Adult Living Success, or PALS, and Oak Tree held a touching graduation ceremony Tuesday night.

Graduates ranged from 18 to 21 years old.

Principal of PALS Maggie Kosik says the students practiced the ceremony over and over so everyone would get their own chance to
shine.

Graduate Kody Barrows already has a job lined up at Raymond Corp. as a welder.

"They have worked so hard to get where they are tonight, all of them have their own special challenges. Otherwise they would not be in the PALS or Oak Tree program," Kosik said.

Kosik says many of the graduates will go into competitive employment.
