Town of Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton University's Spring Job Fair is 25 percent larger than last year's.
Sixty-eight employers gathered to search for new-hires and interns.
They represent local and national companies from Rite Aid to Microsoft.
Students suited up, assembled their resumes and waited in line eager to find opportunities.
Fifteen hundred of them are expected to attend.
The school is encouraging them to be strategic.
"Be prepared. Look on our website to see what employers are coming. Do that research beforehand, know what employers they want to talk to, because they're not going to speak to every employer here," said Bill McCarthy from Binghamton University's Career Development Center.
"I really think the economy is starting to go up. I think there's more jobs opening up and I really hope that when I graduate, there's going to be a job waiting for me," said Binghamton University Student Michael Sosa.
BU conducts job fairs in the fall and spring.
It is open to students from all majors.
