BU Student Stabs Father

Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A student is now in jail without bail after stabbing his dad at a dorm on campus on Sunday night.

The University says on Sunday night, BU Police responded to a family dispute at Choconut Hall at about 6:18 p.m.

Min Park, a junior from Great Neck, had gotten into a dispute with his family.

Park stabbed his dad numerous times in the head and face.

When his mom and sister tried to break up the fight, they both were hurt.

The dad was taken to Wilson Hospital and is in the ICU.

Park was arrested by Binghamton University Police.

He is charged with felony assault.

He was arraigned in the Town of Vestal Court and sent to the Broome County jail without bail.

Vestal Police and New York State Police assisted the BU Police.
