Binghamton man arrested after multiple crimes

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton Police arrested a man on Tuesday they said connected to crimes dating back to October.

Police charged Cecil Marshall, 47, with burglary, petit larceny on two occasions, and robbery.

Police said Marshall is suspected of stealing a cell phone, cash, and a purse from two homes on Bedford and Thorpe Streets. They also accused him of stealing several hygiene items from CVS on Main Street.

Police said the most recent crime happened Sunday on Walnut Street where he allegedly stole a woman's purse and tried using her credit card.

Those items were recovered

The crimes are still under investigation and police encourage those with information to call detectives at (607) 772-7080.
