Binghamton man busted with pounds of pot

Binghamton, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) A Binghamton man remained in the Broome County Jail late Tuesday after investigators said they found him with drug paraphernalia and more than a pound and a half of pot.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant yesterday at 3 Mather St. in the city.

Robert J. McCrone, 22, of Binghamton was found with nearly 1.7 pounds of marijuana, $450 and and various drug paraphernaila, according to a news release from the Broome County Sheriff's Office.

He was charged with felony possession of marijuana.

McCrone was arraigned this morning in Binghamton City Court and taken to the Broome County Jail without bail.
