Man arrested for meth lab on Blanchard Avenue

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Law enforcement responded to Blanchard Avenue Tuesday night for noise complaints and discovered evidence of a working meth lab.

Binghamton Police responded to 23 Blanchard Ave. for complaints of a man throwing tires and playing loud music.

Upon arrival, patrols discovered evidence of a working meth lab.

Additional support from the BPD Special Investigation Unit, Binghamton Fire Department, and NYSP Contaminated Crime Scene Unit assisted in the investigation.

Scott Salmini, 27, of Binghamton was arrested after several items associated with manufacturing meth were found. Approximately 10 ounces of meth oil were recovered.

Salmini was charged with one count of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree.
