(WBNG Binghamton) An 88-year-old man was killed by his son, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.

David St. Onge Sr. is being charged with murder after he admitted to striking a single blow to his father's head.

He then conspired with his son to dispose of the body.

David St. Onge Jr. is charged with conspiring with his father to dispose of his grandfather's body in the woods of Susquehanna County.

David St. Onge Sr. is also charged with stealing his father's belongings and selling them, according to the district attorney's office.

Investigators said 88-year-old Jack St. Onge was murdered inside his home in Plymouth Twp., Montgomery County.

His body was found on June 27 near State Routes 92 and 2036 in Gibson Twp., Susquehanna County. It's nearly 150 miles north of the crime scene, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

State Police said workers clearing brush found the body in the woods, wrapped in a tarp, at approximately 10:30 a.m.

The Susquehanna County Coroner's Office said they were able to identify Jack St. Onge due to his pacemaker.

Additional charges may be filed when the coroner officially rules a cause of death.
