Bomb Squad responds to JC shooting

Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Dozen of law enforcement officers responded to the scene of 32 Harrison St. Monday morning. The Bomb Squad was among those on scene.

While standing outside of the building 43-year-old James Clark was screaming that a bomb was inside.

Johnson City/Binghamton Police Chief Joseph Zikuski states that once a threat or declaration of a bomb is made, the bomb squad is called.

Once on scene, everyone inside the building of Southern Tier Imaging was evacuated.

The bomb squad did their investigation and determined there was no bomb threat inside of the building.

Chief Zikuski says at no time was the hospital locked down.
