Boy Killed in Susquehanna County

Franklin Township, PA (WBNG Binghamton) An 8-year-old boy is killed in Susquehanna County.

It happened on a property along Bronson Hill Road in Franklin Township.

Pennsylvania State Police said just before 5:30 p.m. Monday, a gust of wind broke a limb from a tree, which fell on the young boy, who was outside with his father at the time.

Police said it wasn't raining at the time of the incident.

The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
