Montrose, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Chris Snee prepares himself for another Superbowl, and his hometown gets ready to cheer him on.

Walking through the doors at Montrose High School there is an undeniable pride.

Pride for the school, and those who have come out of it.

As Chris Snee prepares for the Super Bowl his town of just over 10,000, and his old team looks to him as a positive example.

"Chris is definitely an inspiration to the kids on the team. They look up to him even though they haven't met him," says Coach Russ Canevari.

The main lobby of the Home of the Meteors holds a showcase of Chris Snee, a motivation for current students.

"It definitely gives you incentive to try a little harder, you never know where you're going to go with it," says football player, Jeremy Dibble.

"They see that a kid from a small town here in Montrose, Pennsylvania can make it to the big stage in the real world," says Canevari.

Snee was not only a good football player, but he worked hard in school, making the honor roll at Montrose and carrying on that success to Boston College.

In the world of sports there's always a chance that injuries could take you out of the game.

That's advice that the coaching staff reminds their team of daily.

"If he did get injured, he'd be able to go into the business aspect and that's one thing we preach to our guys at the end of practice, make sure your homework is done, make sure you're studying and he is the ultimate role model for that," says Canevari.

School officials say they will continue to follow Snee through his journey in the NFL, and confidently say they are excited to watch him win another Super Bowl.
