Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A popular steel band had people dancing while shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables at the Downtown Binghamton Farmers Market.

"Panigma" is a local band comprised of professional musicians and educators from the Greater Binghamton area.

The band's performance Friday afternoon added a Caribbean feel to this week's Brown Bag Lunch Series on Collier Street.

The Brown Bag Concert Series features 10 free public performances on Fridays throughout the summer. Panigma's performance was the ninth concert of the summer.

"It's growing it's definitely growing more this year than ever," said Adrian Biscontini of Close to Heart Farms. "We get a lot of, lot of traffic down here, so it's been a pretty supportive community."

The series is sponsored by First Niagara Bank, the city of Binghamton and Broome County.
