Maine, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A head-on crash on Airport Road Saturday claims the lives of four people, including two children.
Now, new autopsy results show what lead to the crash.
New York State Police say Joshua Henry, 7, and Tyler Houghton, 6, both of Endicott, died at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester Saturday.
They were passengers in a minivan in the head-on crash on Airport Road.
The car was driven by their grandfather, Joseph Plevinsky, 55 - who also died.
Police say Plevinsky hit a Chevrolet SUV driven by Rose Kozlowski, 56, of Binghamton. Kozlowski also died.
Monday, State Police say autopsy results show that Plevinsky suffered a massive heart attack prior to the crash, dying of natural causes before his vehicle crashed.
A third child in the mini-van, Nataya Henry, 8, of Endicott is still at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City.
