Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A man is arrested after driving his SUV inside Wegmans in Johnson City and then parking in the produce section.
Johnson City Police don't know why he did it.
They say Colin Pierce, 22, of Endwell was drunk at the time.
It took a few attempts, but police say Colin Pierce was able to squeeze his SUV through a pair of automatic doors without causing too much damage Saturday.
Police say Pierce knocked a few vending machines out of the way as he drove into the produce section.
Pierce's blood alcohol content was 0.13 percent.
Police also found some marijuana and vicodin on him after the arrest.
Pierce faces five charges:
-Driving While Intoxicated, misdemeanor;
-Operating with 0.08 percent or more BAC, misdemeanor;
-Reckless Driving, misdemeanor;
-Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, misdemeanor;
-Unlawful Possession on Marijuana, violation;
-And other vehicle and traffic violations.
Pierce is scheduled to appear in the Village of Johnson City Court at a later date.
