Jeep runs over car, flips

Richmond Township, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Two people were injured in a head-on crash in Tioga County, Pa., in which a jeep ran over a car.

The crash happened on July 1 in Richmond Township just in front of Wendy's restaurant on South Main Street, according to a news release by the Pennsylvania State Police.

Eugene Pondo, 19, of Lawrenceville, was driving a Dodge Neon and attempted to make a left turn, but instead drove the wrong lane.

Christopher Ensminger, 43, of Mainesburg was driving in that lane with two passengers in his car. The two cars hit head-on.

The Jeep drove on top of the Neon and continued to flipped three times, according to the news release.

The two drivers were not injured, but both of the Jeep's passengers were taken to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre with unknown injuries.
