Windsor, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A high school student hit the jackpot at his after-prom party.

Logan Hill, a senior at Windsor High School, won a 2005 Honda Accord at the party.

Don's Automotive and Gary's U-Pull-It teamed up to donate two cars to high school students who attend their parties.

Before winning the Accord, Hill had been looking for a car to buy.

"I don't have to look for a car now, because I was looking for one and now I got one. It worked out great," said Hill.

The event is in its 25th year and encourages local students to stay drug and alcohol-free at school-sponsored after-prom parties by offering them the chance to win a car.

"The participation in the post-prom is, from what I understand, is record numbers compared to other post-prom parties. Having that vehicle there that kids can come in and win is a big draw and that kind of impacts to keep kids coming to the post-prom and keeping them safe," said Stephen Barkwell, Manager at Gary's U-Pull-It.

Hill will be able to drive his car to and from SUNY Morrisville, where he will study diesel technology.

A student at Chenango Valley will win the second car, a 2006 Ford Fusion at the school's after party on June 6.
