Carbondale man charged with child rape

Sterling Township, PA (WBNG Binghamton) A Carbondale man has been charged with several felony counts of child rape, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Gary Kroll, 30, of Dundaff Street was taken into custody on Oct. 9 on an arrest warrant.

State Police said the victims are three girls from the Moscow area.

One of the girls told investigators Kroll had been sexually assaulting her since she was 4 years old, and had forcibly raped her when she was 8 years old. She also told police he continued to attack her until she was 12 and 13 years old.

Another victim said Kroll had forcibly raped her once.

The third girl said Kroll had sexually assaulted her two different times.

Kroll was arraigned on several felony charges including rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful restraint, aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault.

He was sent to the Wayne County Jail with bail set at $250,000.
