Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Hundreds of job seekers had an opportunity to talk with local employers.
The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual career fair at SUNY Broome Friday.
People seeking employment were able to come out and have face to face interactions with the companies who attended.
Almost all of the 60 companies that participated said they were looking to hire, and see this fair as a rare, but great opportunity.
"Here you have human resource managers right here, face to face. That is great for job seekers; you can actually talk to them," said Debbie Evans, Event Coordinator of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce.
Some employers also had interviews with job seekers right there at the fair.
