Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It's a Valentines Day gift, not to their sweet-hearts, but to their community.
Seton Catholic Central School's Teens-To-Teen program is collecting and distributing care packages.
Tuesday morning, students loaded up a van with thirty boxes.
They'll be taken to Catholic Charities for distribution.
It will give them to teens who need them.
It's an annual Saint Valentines Day drive that students say is extremely important this year.
Students say because of September's floods, the need is great.
"It's really reaching out to the community, and that's an important part of the student council here. It's really an important part of the school in general. It's what we want to do," said Student Council Member Eric Lindley.
Students collected tooth-paste, soap, and other care items throughout February.
The school's Teens-To-Teens program will do more projects in the coming year.
