Cuomo strikes deal on casinos

A senate bill calling for a two-year moratorium on hydraulic fracturing has support among some Democrats in Albany.

Albany, NY (CBS 6 Albany) Legislative leaders reportedly reached a deal late Tuesday night to bring four casinos to New York.

According to CBS6 Albany, the source spoke on the condition of anonymity because the bill was still being printed and a formal announcement was planned for Wednesday.

Legislative leaders reached a deal on several issues late Tuesday night just before the end of the session.

One deal includes opening four casinos in New York: one in the Southern Tier, two in the Hudson Valley and one in the Capital Region.

If passed, voters will have to approve the measure in November.
