Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) One Broome County office is focused on growth after 40 years of service in the community.

The Office for Aging is celebrated its 40th anniversary with music, dancing and a party.

The office offers programs like meal delivery and in house meal services, but has also grown by adding modern exercise programs like Zumba to keep up with the times.

Grace DeBenedittis and her husband have been using the office for more than 20 years.

"{It's} very nice here. We always came for meals and exercise. I did the chair exercises. I did the chair exercises yes," DeBenedittis said.

The Office For Aging serves 10 active senior centers throughout the county.

The need for its services are as strong as ever as the senior population in Broome County is currently above the state average.
