Charges: possession of heroin, cocaine and endangering a child

South New Berlin, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A search of a home turned up drugs and left a woman facing felony drug charges.

The Chenango County Sheriff's Office executed a no-knock search warrant at 3341 State Highway 8.

Jennifer Perrotti, 39, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after a lengthy investigation into the sale of heroin in Chenango County.

Heroin and cocaine were found in her home, as well as packing material and scale, according to a sheriff's office news release.

She was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child, because a child was present.

Perrotti was arraigned and taken to Chenango County Jail on $15,000 bail. She is expected to return to Town of New Berlin Court at a later date.

The Norwich City and New Berlin police departments, along with K9 "Nitro" assisted with the investigation.

Charges:
- Two counts, criminal possession of a controlled substance, 3rd degree
- Criminal nuisance, 1st degree
- Criminal use of drug paraphernalia, 2nd degree
- Endangering the welfare of a child
