McDonough, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Three people are arrested after a quarrel between a woman, her ex-boyfriend and another woman led to shots being fired.

Chenango County Sheriff's deputies responded around 2:30 pm Thursday to 309 county Route 7 in McDonough. Deputies said Connie Hendrickson, 47, of Greene was staying at a friends home.

Hendrickson became involved in a dispute with Glenn O'Connor, 45, of Greene and Kimberly Haughton, 28, of Greene. Deputies said Hendrickson fired six shots from a rifle toward O'Connor and Haughton. Although three rounds hit the passenger side of Haughton's vehicle, no one was hurt.

Hendrickson was charged with two counts each of attempted assault, reckless endangerment and menacing.

O'Connor was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon. The sheriff's office said he is a convicted felon and unlawfully had possession of a rifle.

Haughton was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was found to have approximately 3 grams of methamphetamine.

On Friday, sheriff's deputies and New York State Police executed a search warrant at O'Connor's home on Stein Road in the Town of Greene. They found 3 ounces of methamphetamine. He was additionally charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
