Ithaca, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A Cortland man is in jail for shooting another man.
Ithaca police on Monday arrested Tyrelle Mccargo, 22, and charged him with felony assault.
Police say Mccargo shot another 22-year-old in the rear end Jan. 29.
Police were called to investigate the shooting at 100 Oak Ave. in Ithaca.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities sent Mccargo to the Tompkins County Jail on $10,000 bail.
He is scheduled to return to court on Wednesday.
