(WBNG Binghamton) County executive spokesman Jim Worhach has been indicted by a Broome County grand jury on charges he left the scene of a drunk-driving crash last spring.

Worhach, who is the communications coordinator for county Executive Debbie Preston, is set to appear for arraignment at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Broome County Court by Judge Martin Smith.

The indictment was handed up Aug. 20.

Contacted Tuesday evening, Worhach, 28, declined to discuss the indictment or his scheduled court appearance.
