New Belin, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The search is on for a woman who said she was going shopping but never returned home.
The Chanango County Sheriff's Office said 36-year-old Jennifer L. Ramsaran.left her home in New Berlin Tuesday, telling her husband she was headed to Destiny USA in Syracuse.
Her cell phone was found Wednesday along state Route 23 in the Town of Plymouth.
Deputies said she was driving a maroon 2006 Chrysler Town and Country minivan with New York registration EFA1962.
They believe she may have changed her hair color and style.
The sheriff's office asks anyone with information to give them a call at (607) 334-2000.
They say all calls will be kept confidential.
