Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Deputies found three passengers passed out in a car on Route 12 with heroin in possession.
The Broome County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christopher Decker, 48, Friday evening after finding two kinds of narcotics.
One was heroin, found inside the car, and the other was Subutex, found in one of Decker's pockets.
According to deputies, a passerby reported three people passed out in a car and was concerned they may have overdosed on drugs.
When the deputy arrived, he was able to awaken all three passengers.
Numerous hypodermic needles were discovered in the car.
Decker owned the car, but was originally found passed out in the back.
The other two men were released from custody without charges. One of the men released was Decker's son.
Decker's charges include two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor, and one count of criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, a class A misdemeanor.
