Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton's biggest high school basketball tournament of the year returns once again to the Veteran's Memorial Arena.

Broome County Executive Debbie Preston announced the details of the Mirabito Stop DWI Holiday Classic Tuesday.

The 22nd annual tournament will run Dec. 27th to the 30th.

Many recognize the tournament as the premier holiday high school basketball tournaments in the northeast.

While the contest is a chance for teams to have fun and show their skills, it also comes with a serious message.

"We want you to have fun and compete, but we also want you to hear our message about the dangers of drinking and driving," said Preston.

Once again, there will be one national division and two four-team regional divisions.
