Oneonta, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Oneonta police arrested dozens of college students over the weekend.
Most of the arrests stemmed from "quality-of-life violations," police said.
Police said they had extra officers on duty, especially during late and early morning hours because of the influx of students at SUNY Oneonta.
They focused on residential areas that featured a high volume of reports in past years.
Those reports included noise ordinances, open container violations, public urination, littering and underage possession of alcohol.
Police also watched for other violations over the weekend.
In all, police arrested 25 students, although they said no major incidents were reported.
